How LHE Technology treats Psoriasis

In healthy skin dead cells move to the surface and are naturally and unnoticeably rubbed off in about one month. In psoriasis the immune system sends faulty messages to the skin which speeds up this cycle to only 3 to 4 days.

The result is a thickening of the skin with extra cells and the blood vessels grow larger in an attempt to feed those cells. New and dead skin cell pile up on the surface creating a white flaky layer over the area of inflamed skin.

Using selected photothermolysis, LHE uses specialised flashes of non-UV green and yellow light to shrink and eliminate the blood vessels that feed the abnormal growth of psoriatic lesions.
