How Does LHE Skin PhotoRejuvenation Work?
LHE works on the principle of "Selective photothermolysis" which specifically targets
the area we wish to treat with destroying the surrounding tissues or organs. LHE is however
quite unique because it uses two modalities to achieve the desired result. Light and Heat
energy are harnessed to ensure that the energy levels can be set at a lower level than other
systems.
The Light which the LHE SkinStation generates is set to a very specific range of frequencies
which matches the colour of the pigmentation spots and vascular lesions. These are often called
'Target Chromaphores'.
The Light creates Heat which is absorbed by this darker pigmentation in the target lesion.
This heat raises the temperature inside the lesion thereby damaging it. Following the treatment
the lesions which have been affected in this way coagulate and are either absorbed in the skin
or form a superficial scab and fall off leaving the skin free from the lesion.

heat which initiates a natural wound healing process that causes the rebuilding of new collagen
under the outer layer of the skin. Collagen forms a supporting structure or matrix which helps r
